Two persons living with disabilities were among the participants who received solar lights through the Shine on Rwanda program. For many years, darkness filled their homes every evening because they had no access to electricity. Simple activities such as preparing food, organizing household items, or moving safely around their homes became very difficult once the sun went down. Nights were often long and challenging.
They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Let There Be Light for this meaningful support. They shared that the solar lights have brought brightness, comfort, and renewed hope into their homes. With deep appreciation, they thanked Let There Be Light for remembering families like theirs and for helping bring light into their lives.
