Disabled Child Beneficiary

A child living with a disability was among the participants who received a solar light through the Shine on Rwanda program. Sadly, the child had been abandoned by relatives because of his lameness, and life had been extremely difficult without proper care or support. His evenings were long and dark, making even simple tasks like studying, playing safely, or moving around the home a challenge.
Receiving the solar light brought a ray of hope into his life. The child and his caregivers expressed deep gratitude to Let There Be Light for this support. They shared that the light now brightens his home, allows him to engage in daily activities safely, and gives him a sense of dignity and comfort. For him, this small gift has brought not only light but also renewed hope and joy in his life.
