A Light of Hope in Gisagara

In 2026, the staff and volunteers of NPO TER visited communities in Gisagara District to distribute solar lights to families living without electricity. For many households, nights were often dark and challenging, especially when doing daily activities such as cooking, studying, or moving around the house.

When the beneficiaries received the solar lights, their faces were filled with joy and gratitude. Parents shared that the lights would help their children study in the evening, while others said they could now safely complete household activities after sunset.

This small solar light will bring a big change in their lives.  Provide hope, comfort, and security to many families. The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt thanks to NPO TER and were especially grateful for the generous support from Let There Be Light International (LTBLI), whose contribution made this initiative possible.

The light is not only brightening their homes but also bring hope to the community.
